Wendy Braff (writer/creator)

After graduating from Emerson College, Wendy immediately moved to Los Angeles and within a year she had gotten into the Warner Bros. writers program and was put on the writing staff of ABC’s “Growing Pains.”
Her next job was on the staff of NBC’s “Empty Nest” and then directly into multiple sitcom development deals with The Greenblatt/Janollari Studio, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Colossal Pictures, writing pilots for NBC, CBS, Fox and Lifetime. Her first feature film script “The Governess” was sold to Columbia Pictures in 2001 with Jennifer Lopez attached to star.
After some time off to have her two amazing boys, Wendy wrote for TLC’s reality show “Leah Remini: It’s All Relative.” She was initially hired to ghostwrite the novel “Fat is Funny,” (published by BookLocker) but her work earned her a co-author credit instead.
Her most recent feature film “Just Swipe,” starring Full House’s Jodie Sweetin, was released by Viacom in Feb 2022, and her feature script “Darcy Delane” is currently in development with actress Lesley Ann Warren attached to star.
